Tim-bor Professional is a powerful borate-based wood preservative, fungicide, and insect control treatment designed to help protect log homes, cabins, timber structures, wood siding, and other wood-framed buildings from destructive pests and wood decay. Utilizing disodium octaborate tetrahydrate (DOT), Tim-bor Professional penetrates unfinished wood surfaces to provide long-lasting protection against carpenter ants, drywood termites, wood-boring beetles, and wood decay fungi.

Ideal for new construction, restoration projects, and preventative maintenance, Tim-bor Professional can be applied directly to bare, unstained, and unsealed wood using a garden sprayer or brush. Its odorless, non-staining formula makes it an excellent choice for log home owners, contractors, and wood restoration professionals seeking effective wood preservation without altering the appearance of the wood.

Unlike many wood treatment products, Tim-bor Professional is non-corrosive and will not damage nails, screws, lag bolts, brackets, supports, or other galvanized metal components commonly found in log and timber construction.

Coverage Rate
Approximately 2,000 square feet at a 10% solution strength.

Application Directions
Apply directly to unstained and unsealed wood using a garden sprayer or brush. For wood with normal moisture content, apply one application of a 15% solution. For wood with lower moisture content, apply two applications of a 10% solution. Some crystallization may occur on the wood surface after drying. If present, simply brush away any residue prior to stain application. Allow approximately 24 hours of drying time before applying stain or finish.
